　　Should the leaders focus more on the needs of the majority or on the needs of the minority? It has been a question discussed generation to generation, and some would undoubtedly argue that since the majority makes the possibility of the existence of the whole community realized, it is certain that the government should give the priority to the majority; while others may not agree with this point of view. After weighing the evidence, I am much predisposed to be more approval of the preference of the majority’s needs from both sides.
　　Those who might argue for the priority of the minority may point to the example of the practicability of its carrying out. No doubt that it is more feasible to materialize the needs within a smaller group, but does it mean we should always give way to what seems easier for us to complete? In addition to its more possible practicability of its carrying out, some would come up with the point of the wise characteristics of the minority. According to Gustav Le Bon, a very famous French psychologist who devoted his life to the study of popular mind, the bigger the group is, the less wisdom it has. But can we just give up and ignore those who are simply not visually intellectualized? On the other hand, Gustav also stated that as long as the group is directed by a wise boss, it will be the core of the social advancement. So some would just continue asking the policy released by Deng Xiaoping, who ever led China to be an economically promoted country, that we should make the minority rich, then the minority influences the majority. However, the issue is that have them been aware of the fact that the ultimate goal is to make all people rich, and the focus is on the big picture? Obviously, from this side, I give the priority to the needs of majority.
　　Now, let’s consider the positive side of this issue being discussed. Believe it or not, when talking about the focus of the majority or the minority, I am tempted to propose the example of the extreme supremacy of the minority, sequentially associated with their licentious use of their power. Let’s just take this saying for example:” My dad is Li Gang.” This saying is popularly demonstrated for its ridiculous brashness generated by the extreme power of some officials. Furthermore, what inspires people most lies in the story of Li Shimin, a very great empire in Tang Dynasty, when asked about his opinion on the relationship between his monarchical sovereignty and his people. Immediately lost in thought, he responded to his courtiers that “ people is the foundation of a country, and my authority is certainly less important.” Besides all the examples showed above, none of us would deny the fact that it is the beauty of dignified character by focusing on the needs of the majority that purifies and modifies our society. Once again, from this side, I firmly hold my position.
　　In conclusion, it is safe to say that the leaders should focus on the needs of the majority rather than on the needs of the minority from both sides. The practicability of its carrying out, the policy of making minority rich first, or the study of the popular mind only serves as a contrast to strengthen the priority of the majority, if anything.
