An attributive is a noun or noun phrase that is used to attribute another noun or noun phrase,or a pronoun:
A clause that functions as an attributive is called an attributive clause.
The attributive clause serves as an attributive modifier.
The attributive clause is introduced by the relative pronoun that or which, which is either the subject or the object in the attributive clause.
Almost any noun may have an attributive clause to modify it.
1.introduced by who
e.g:Who are we to be the "big brother"who attempts to dictate our notion of s superior way of life to others against their will?
2.introduced by where
e.g:I don't want to live in a city where a woman advertises for a lost dog and receives dozens of telephone calls from a variety of people saying they are torturing the animal and will continue to do so unless she pays a large sums of money;or in a city where I am told I must always have $10 in my wallet for a possible mugger because without that I will surely be stabbed;or in a city where my mailman leaves a slip in my box at Christmas suggesting the size of the tip he expects.
3.introduced by which
e.g.Galileo favored Copernicus' theory which declared that the earth is a planet which revolves around a fixed sun.
